Note:

For the past week we have been judging the Tropicana speech classroom competition; therefore, I did not post. I am extremely proud of the efforts of the great majority of the students. The top three winners for each class have been selected and will move on to the school’s competition. I would like to extend a special thank you to all the parents and others volunteers, for their time, who helped us judge the competition. Your commitment is immeasurable!

  • Collect any missed homework lesson 6 exercises A, B, C and E (-20, last day).

  • Work on draft for book (20 mins.).    

  • Peer edit each other’s story (15 mins.).

  • Begin typing draft in class (if finished).

Honors:

  • Students should be finished with their rough drafts by the end of class. They will edit the other classes’ papers on Thursday.

Homework:

  • Finish draft, type and save on disk.

  • Disks will be collected tomorrow.  

Tomorrow:

  • Make any necessary corrections to story and print-out on publishing paper.
